Montana Weather

What a difference a day makes! Saturday, we went to the lake, and it was windy. (See previous post) We left our coats on and sheltered the babies. Sunday, we went to the lake, and it was completely calm, the sun kept us warm. So warm, I sheltered the baby in the shade to keep him cool. This is him cooling off a bit. Extra pictures are added, just because he's so cute!

Let the fishing season begin...

On Saturday, we went fishing with the Miller family. We caught a few fish, and got to spend the day outside enjoying the spring weather (except for the wind, we really didn't enjoy that).

Me, with my 8 pound catfish! Um, I think I caught the most fish, or at least the most pounds of fish; I also caught about a 4 pound cat, a 3 pound walleye, and another smaller walleye. This was my lucky day!
Upon departing the lake, we headed to Eric and Anne's for a fish fry. Thanks for cooking supper, guys!

Adventures!

On Saturday, the Millers and the O'Connors went on an adventure! We loaded up our 2 families in 2 vehicles, and off we went for a day of prairie dog hunting and exploring. We spent more time hunting than finding, but all adult parties got some target practice in. Don't panic! All babies were safely protected from discomfort and danger! In the afternoon, we made it to the hole in the rock, which evidently is the site of an old trading post. We hunted arrowheads, and the ladies climbed on the rocks, among other things. Here are some pictures from our adventure:

It was a delightful spring day, meant for an outing, and it was enjoyed!
