On Sunday we went to the local "Turkey shoot." No, you do not shoot at turkeys, you shoot for turkeys! You see, when you win a round of the target shooting, you get a ticket for a turkey. It was a beautiful day; very little wind, no snow or rain or combination of the three, just beautiful. So that leaves some of us saying, "How much turkey, turkey soup, turkey whatever can we eat this winter?" I'm thinking I sent out the book club menu too soon! Don't worry, we'll make sure it doesn't go to waste. I hope to include pictures on the blog, so bare with me!

Yay! I'm glad you got so many pictures yesterday. It seemed that I was either feeding Gwen or shooting, so we didn't get as much on film asd I would have liked! :) And maybe we should plan a turkey meal (or two) sometime shortly. I think John might have gotten a few more than I did (like 6) from winning. But hey, they still gave me the consolation turkey at the end ;)
We actually expected you to get more turkeys! I hope it wasn't the intimidation. Did you get the pics I sent?
You can always change the bookclub menu....or have turkey pizza....ick! Good job with the photos! Looks like so much fun! I haven't been to a turkey shoot since I was a kid.
